Kenya Police FC brought the curtain down on the 2025/26 campaign in style after hosting its End-of-Season Gala Awards, celebrating the outstanding achievements of players from both the men’s and women’s teams.
The colourful ceremony brought together club officials, players, members of the technical benches and invited guests to recognise individuals who delivered exceptional performances throughout the season. The event was held with the backing of the club’s official sponsor, Betika, whose continued partnership has played a key role in supporting Kenya Police FC’s football project.

Men’s team defender Abud Omar emerged as the biggest winner of the night after sweeping three major awards. The experienced defender was named the club’s Most Valuable Player, Defender of the Season, and also claimed the Goal of the Season award following a remarkable campaign.
New signing Yves Koutiama also enjoyed a memorable evening after receiving the Signing of the Season and Golden Boot awards, while Charles Ouma was voted Midfielder of the Season. Goalkeeper Job Ochieng’ earned the Goalkeeper of the Season accolade, Erick Zakayo was recognised as the Most Improved Player, and Daniel Ogembo took home the Young Player of the Season award. Ernest Malonga received the prestigious Chairman’s Award for his contribution to the club.
The women’s team, Kenya Police Bullets, also celebrated another successful campaign after securing a historic third consecutive FKF Women’s Premier League title. Ugandan striker Margaret Kunihira was named the team’s Most Valuable Player, while Elizabeth Ochaka claimed the Defender of the Season award and Lorna Nyarinda was voted Midfielder of the Season.
Goalkeeper Annedy Kundu was recognised as the best shot-stopper, Diana Ochola won the Young Player of the Season award, Emily Moranga was named Most Improved Player, while Terry Engesha’s stunning strike against Ulinzi Starlets earned the Goal of the Season honour. Loyal supporter Praxides Mushira, popularly known as “Afande Cele,” was recognised as the club’s Fan of the Season.
During the gala, Kenya Police FC reaffirmed its commitment to building on the successes of the past campaign by continuing to invest in player development and strengthening both the men’s and women’s teams ahead of the new season.

The awards ceremony marked the end of another memorable campaign for the law enforcers, with the men’s side enjoying a strong domestic season and the Kenya Police Bullets continuing their dominance in women’s football, as the club now shifts its focus to achieving even greater success in the upcoming campaign.
